Jim’s racing and firefighting careers began in Northern California where he started in the fire service with the City of Rocklin Fire Department as a volunteer from 1986-1988. In 1988 Jim Started his fulltime career in the fire service with South Placer Fire District then moved to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District as a third generation firefighter, where he holds the rank of Engineer. In 2009 Jim began racing with the Legends of the Pacific in Northern California, at All American Speedway in Roseville, ca and Stockton 99 Speedway in Stockton, CA. After realizing his love for driving a race car, Jim ran again in 2010 and finished 15th overall in points and 3rd for the semi-pro division
and will be returning to racing in 2011
with USFD Racing team behind the
wheel of a legends car in either the
Semi-pro or Masters Division against
some of the most experience legends
drivers in Northern California. Jim's
goals are to continue to improve
as a driver and give back to the
fire service that has given so
much to him. Jim can be seen at

CA. and Stockton 99 Speedway in
Stockton, CA.
